COURSES
Courses you may choose from include:
- Advanced Product Quality Planning and Control Plan (APQP) accelerates your understanding of product quality planning fundamentals and related tools. Learn to do or develop all or part of the 5 Phases of the APQP roadmap including program definition, product/process design and development, validation and ongoing assessment and sustainment. Understand the requirements for Control Plans to help monitor, detect, prevent and control process/product quality.
- Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) develops students’ understanding of Design and Process FMEA methodology, practical hints, techniques and development. Understand how to apply FMEA to process families. Either an exercise or actual process will be used for practice. Training can be conducted to the AIAG FMEA 4th Edition or the new, AIAG-VDA Handbook.
- Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) accelerates understanding of when submissions are required, requirements for different submission levels, process requirements, record keeping, master sample retention and part submission status. It includes application exercises to deepen understanding and reinforce learning. Online or in-person course available.
- Measurement System Analysis (MSA) empowers participants to master measurement system analysis terminology and develop the ability to design, run, interpret and report both statistical and non-statistical measurement system studies in line with automotive, improvement and other requirements. Course includes training in Gage R&R, Attribute Agreement, Calibration and other methods. See below if want Minitab training integrated.
- Statistical Process Control (SPC) accelerates participants’ understanding of SPC (also known as Control or Process Behavior Charts) and capability to better understand, measure, monitor and improve a process. Participants will explore variation, components of process variation and characterization, other methods of process control, types of control charts, process capability and other indicators. Course can be done as an employee overview for understanding purpose, benefits, reading and reacting to outputs; or it can be done in more detail for implementers.
Our two most popular offerings include Minitab training, where participants learn the concepts and how to run and interpret results leveraging the power of Minitab statistical software:
- Basic Statistics, Graphs, SPC and Capability in Minitab
- Measurement System Analysis (MSA) in Minitab
