Withdrawal/Cancellation/Refund
You may cancel your registration up to seven days before the class start date. A $25 processing fee applies to courses under $500, and a $75 processing fee applies to courses over $500. You may transfer your registration to another class at no cost if the request is made at least seven days before your original class begins. Only one transfer is permitted. Cancellations or transfer requests made fewer than seven days before the class start date will result in forfeiture of the full registration fee. Please note that any refund will first be applied to outstanding balances owed to the college.

Registration
Admission Requirements
Students must provide proof of their legal presence in the United States at the time of course registration. For classes that require a high school diploma or GED, you can upload it at the time of registration. Most courses do not require additional prerequisites; however, please ensure to read through the course descriptions online.
Registration for students aged 17 or under
Students must talk with the department head in the area of interest. A parent must accompany the student to sign a student/parent statement. Once approved, the student may register and pay for the course. Please call 864-250-8800 to set up a meeting.
Class Confirmation
A class confirmation will be sent by email after registration that includes the class location, parking pass, and course details.
Assistance
Plan 60 Policy
Any legal resident of South Carolina, age 60 and older, who is not employed full-time, may attend most continuing education classes on a space-available basis without tuition.

Awards & Transcripts
Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
CEUs are awarded for most continuing education classes at Greenville Technical College. One CEU represents 10 class hours of instruction. The CEU is a means of recording the various professional development training a person participates in over a period of years. Everyone successfully completing a course for professional development will receive a certificate of completion.
Transcripts
Continuing education transcripts or duplicate certificates are available. The charge for a duplicate certificate is $15 (some exceptions apply). The charge for a transcript that you pick up is $15. If you need a transcript mailed, the charge is $20. Students must sign a release form and present their driver’s license or state-issued identification card (additional information may be required). Transcript requests may be submitted by phone at 864-250-8800 or by email at ce@gvltec.edu.
