Emergency Response Training
Receive training to enter the exciting, challenging and rewarding Emergency Response field. You can learn the basics of dispatching with the police, fire, ambulance or trucking/delivery industry or gain the skills to become a medical responder for non-EMS personnel.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Successful completers of Emergency Dispatch 911 can expect to learn the basics of call-taking while also getting an in-depth look at the job requirements of dispatch operators with law enforcement, medical or fire.
The Emergency Medical Responder is on the scene providing lifesaving skills before EMS/Paramedics arrive.

Courses you might find include:
- Emergency Dispatch 911 (QJ)
Prerequisites include:- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clean background check (email/call for specifics)
- Good customer service, organizational, multi-tasking and computer skills (typing 35 words per minute)
- Emergency Medical Responder for Non-EMS Personnel
- No medical background required
- Must be able to perform CPR and do minor lifting
- Ideal candidate remains calm under pressure, especially in first aid/medical emergencies
