Medical Interpreter Training
Acquire the skills to provide linguistically and culturally appropriate and effective translation services in a variety of settings, including the medical, behavioral health and social service fields.
Classes meet training requirements from both the Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters and the National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters.WHAT TO EXPECT
- Graduates will be prepared to provide linguistically and culturally appropriate interpretation skills and effective translation services in a variety of settings, including the medical, behavioral health and social service fields.
- Level 2 is Language Specific: Must be fluent in Spanish and English
- Levels 1, 3 and 4 are Non-Language Specific: Must be fluent in English and any other language
